13th Annual Blue Ridge Kite Festival

Come out and join the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce and the Richmond Air Force (RAF) Kite Club to celebrate the start of spring with a kite flying exhibition! For the thirteenth straight year, both organizations will come together at Green Hill Park in Roanoke County to dazzle the public with an array of kites flying in the air. Come out and join the RAF in flying your own kite! The first 1000 children accompanied by an adult will receive a FREE kite kit and supplies to decorate their kite. Along with free kites, children will receive a free 13th Annual Blue Ridge Kite Festival t-shirt (while supplies last).
The Blue Ridge Kite Festival is an All-American
Fun Fly! Manga flying is prohibited at Green Hill Park on
event day.
This is a pet-free event, so please leave your pets at home.
