If bad weather forces cancellation, the parade will be rescheduled for Monday, December 10, 2018

The Parade will run from Shanks Street/Salem Ice Cream Parlor, down Main Street to College Avenue, where it turns right and ends in front of Oakey's Funeral Home.

WINNERS

It's time to announce the winners of the 2017 Salem Christmas Parade! The Old Fashioned Christmas category and overall winner is the Salem Health & Rehabilitation Center with their Christmas Vacation themed float. Winner of the Religious category is Fellowship Community Church that featured a beautiful acapella group. The Children's category top entry was the Girl Scouts of the Roanoke Valley with their gingerbread men and the Glenvar High School Band was the favorite this year. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone for participating!
